Spider -Man got a break from spidey-business today when he – or at least, an actor playing him – had to hang out in Times Square for a while during the annual confetti test (yes, that’s a thing) for the New Year’s Eve celebrations in Manhattan.
Apparently the organisers of one of the biggest New Year’s parties in the world always do a test a few days beforehand to make sure the confetti flutters down just right – and since Spider-Man is the Official Superhero of New Year’s Eve (which possibly has something to do with the next Spider-Man film being released in May), he got the nod.
It’s a tough job but someone has to do it…
