Poll: Would you report bonfire-related activity?

Have your say on bonfires.

WITH JUST DAYS left to go until Halloween, Dublin City Council has called on the public to report bonfire-related activity.

According to the council, there were at least 432 reports made about stockpiling bonfire materials last year. DCC has encouraged the public to report any such behaviour either online or over the phone.

In the appeal issued this week, the council also reminded the public that any and all bonfires are illegal. Nevertheless, bonfires remain popular on Halloween night, which is one of the busiest nights of the year for emergency services.

Today we want to know… Would you report bonfire-related activity, such as the stockpiling of materials?

Poll Results:

No (3987)
Yes (3578)
I'm not sure (979)

Come on Michelle …… Why did you pull my comment ?…… It was green thumbed at over 20 /1 , which means the public liked it …… Is it not the job of a journalist to let everyone have their say ….. We can stop clicking on your stories and see where it ends too.

Agree Butter Bean, theJournal started out great, but seems to have descended into Daily Mail status, this headline being a prime example. Pity. RIP to this road traffic victim.
