Armagh 0-20

Donegal 0-20

(After extra time; Donegal win 6-5 on penalties)

GOALKEEPER SHAUN PATTON was Donegal’s hero as Jim McGuinness’s men claimed the Ulster senior football title in a gripping penalty shootout in Clones.

Odhran Doherty kicked an 89th-minute leveller for Donegal to send the final to penalties, before Patton’s save from Shane McPartlan in sudden death gave the county a first provincial title since 2019.

Dublin 1-19

Louth 2-12

DUBLIN CLAIMED A 14th straight Leinster senior football title in Croke Park on Sunday, but were made to work for their win by a battling Louth side who threatened to cause a seismic shock.

It wasn’t until Con O’Callaghan’s 55th-minute goal that the game swung decisively in Dublin’s favour as the All-Ireland champions continued their long unbeaten run in the province.
