We’ve rounded up some of the coolest campers currently available, from the dream campervan to the (slightly more) affordable.
Under €70k
2016 Volkswagen California, €64,495
Be California dreamin’ in this high spec, modern Volkswagen California campervan which comes with a shower connection and bed extension/sleep pad and awning house.
Once you have found the perfect camping spot, use the parking sensors to park up and then chill out and listen to some tunes on the upgraded Dyna audio sound system and relax in privacy thanks to the tinted windows and heated seats.

2008 Karmann Colorado 550, €44,950
The Karmann Colorado 550 motorhome is based on the Volkswagen T5. Karmanns have a really good reputation and are considered to be a bit more upmarket with some nice luxury features.
The build quality is great and this van is powered by a 2.5-litre Volkswagen T5 engine with an Alko Chassis. The interior is nice and bright and airy with a wonderful finish and it features LED lighting throughout. This motorhome is a very comfortable way to hit the road.

2013 Volkswagen Crafter Camper, £25,595 (€30,083)
This campervan conversion is based on the long-wheelbase Crafter van and features everything you could possibly need for a road trip, including the kitchen sink. It has four berths, a washroom with shower and toilet and kitchen with a microwave, fridge, gas oven and two-ring gas hob combo unit.
At night you can take out the four deckchairs and sit underneath the four-metre awning – or if it is raining you can take shelter inside, lie back on the beds and look at the stars through the roof light. Lovely stuff.

1986 Volkswagen T25 Camper and caravan, €16,500
Wowzers! Check out this Game of Thrones-themed custom camper and caravan. This T25 has had a lot of money pumped into it including a Go Westie lift spring kit, new alloys and semi off-road tyres, new brakes and brake lines, new LED lamps on the back of the van and trailer and a new sound system too.
Take a look inside as the interior is almost as funky as the exterior with its retro upholstery and cool styling. This is one camper not for shy and retiring types.

The T2 is the iconic camper that many people dream of owning. It is the stuff that adventures are made of and where stories begin. This particular model is a 1973 Tintop Westfalia Weekender and comes with a red and chocolate reupholstered interior with a basic camping setup including a rock ‘n’ roll bed, buddy seat, fold down table and a 240v hookup.
