MORE THAN 1,000 people near Ballymena, Co Antrim, were left without electricity last night after vandals attacked equipment. The vandals broke into a power distribution centre and used a hatchet on equipment. The damage has been repaired and power restored, but this is the third time that electricity equipment in this area has been targeted.
