THERE ARE A number of reports today that Victoria’s Secret is set to lease the store currently occupied by BT2 on Grafton Street.
The lingerie brand is reportedly close to a deal to rent the unit.
BT2 is a popular offshoot of Brown Thomas, one of the signature stores on the street.
In a statement to TheJournal.ie a Brown Thomas spokesperson said regarding the reports that “no deal has been signed”.
“We will not be making any further comment,” the spokesperson said.
Victoria’s Secret could not be reached for comment.
Any deal is not expected to affect the other Dublin BT2 outlets in Dundrum and Blanchardstown.
Victoria’s Secret opened a store at Terminal 2 in Dublin Airport in late 2013.
The brand’s annual fashion show attracts big names in the modelling and music industries, and is watched by hundreds of millions of people internationally.
