Woman in her 20s arrested in Vincent Ryan murder investigation

She is the fifth person to have been arrested.

A WOMAN IN her early 20s has been arrested this evening in connection to the Vincent Ryan murder investigation.

She is currently detained at Finglas Garda Station under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act.

She is the fifth person to have been arrested in this investigation. Gardaí said there are currently two men and one woman in custody.

Ryan was shot dead in a car outside his partner’s house on McKee Road in Finglas on 29 February.

His brother Alan was a prominent member of the Real IRA who was murdered in 2012.

Investigating gardaí have renewed their appeal for members of the public who may have information in relation to the killing to contact Finglas Garda Station on 01-666 7500, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any garda station.
