70-year-old woman finishes 100-mile race with just six seconds to spare

IF YOU’RE FEELING in any way unmotivated today, take a look at this.

70-year-old Gunhild Swanson of Spokane Valley, Washington stole the show at the Western States Endurance Run over the weekend, completing the 100-mile race just seconds before the 30-hour limit.

Runner’s World reports that when she finished, to the massive acclaim of the crowd, she bent down, shook her head, smiled and said “That was unbelievable”.

It’s hard to disagree.
