Elderly woman dies in Cork house fire
A fire broke out at a home on Model Farm Road at 9.30 last night.
A WOMAN IN her late 80s has died in a house fire in Cork last night.
Gardaí are investigating the fatal fire which occurred at a house on Model Farm Road in Cork city last night at around 9.30pm.
A woman in her late 80s was pronounced dead at the scene.
The scene is being preserved by gardaí for technical examination.
