Woman found murdered due to wed that day

PSNI investigating murder of 51-year-old woman.

A WOMAN FOUND MURDERED in her Belfast home on Monday morning was due to be married that same day.

Patricia Bardon was discovered dead at her flat in Elm Court in south Belfast on Monday – her 51st birthday.

The remains were found around 4pm, and a post-mortem was held yesterday, but the cause of death has not been released.

Police have arrested one man in connection with the murder.

PSNI officers have appealed to anyone who may have information regarding Bardon’s actions in the days before her death to contact them.
