RIP to the 21 that died this year and I do hope farmers remain cautious. I was just asking a curious question no need to get so aggressive.

It doesn’t matter how safe you are when sometimes you have no choice but to handle dangerous animals.

Farming is normally a family enterprise. If someone is killed in a farm accident it’s more than likely a (close) family member e.g. parent, child, sibling. The Spence family tragedy is a prime example. So in these situations do you really think it’s going to serve any purpose prosecuting and locking up a family member. Wouldn’t one think the suffering and lifelong guilt at causing the death of a close family member is punishment enough???

It’s a place of work. If laws were broken an investigation and publication of the causes is the least that should happen, this benefits the entire industry.
It’s up to the dpp to decide if an incident merits prosecution, family or not.
