Group of masked man armed with bats left man with broken arm and leg

It happened in east Belfast at around 8:30pm.

A GROUP OF men armed with bats attacked a man at a house in east Belfast last night.

The 44-year-old sustained a number of injuries, including a suspected broken arm and broken leg.

Detectives are investigating the incident and are appealing for information.

Sergeant Dolores Black said, “At around 8.30pm last night, Wednesday 4th February, it was reported that five or six masked men armed with bats had entered a house on London Street and assaulted a male inside.”

Detectives would like to hear from anyone who was in the area last night or anyone with any information that could assist the investigation. The number to call is 101.”
