Man (21) to appear in court in relation to woman's death in Bray

The body of a 50-year-old woman was discovered in a house on the Southern Cross area of the town.

A 21-YEAR-OLD man is to appear in court this evening in relation to the death of a woman in her 50s in Bray, County Wicklow.

The woman’s body was discovered at a house on the Southern Cross area of Bray in the early hours of Friday morning.

A 21-year-old man was arrested shortly after at 11am.

The young man is scheduled to appear before a special sitting of Bray District Court tonight at 8pm.

Gardaí said the woman was killed in “violent circumstances”
