Cannabis haul worth €12,000 seized in Clare

Gardaí said investigations are ongoing and no arrests have been made.

GARDAÍ IN CLARE have seized a number of cannabis plants and resin as part of an ongoing operation targeting the sale and supply of the drug in the county.

The seizures were made yesterday afternoon during a planned search of a property at Magherabaun, Feakle, in Shannon.

During the course of the search, cannabis plants and resin with an estimated street value of up to €12,000, pending analysis, were recovered.

No arrests have been made but gardaí said investigations are ongoing. The area has been sealed off for a technical examination.
