Up to €100k worth of cannabis plants seized in city centre raid

A 32-year-old male was arrested at the scene

AS MUCH AS €100,000 worth of cannabis plants have been seized in a raid on a flat in Dublin city centre.

Gardaí arrested one 32-year-old male at the scene. He is currently being held at Store Street Garda Station.

The search of the premises at Stafford House on Wolfe Tone Street took place yesterday.

Other drug paraphernalia was also seized by detectives.

Gardaí said that this kind of intelligence-led operation is aimed at ‘disrupting criminals and dismantling their networks’.
