Gardaí issue warning after car crash in Limerick

The driver was arrested on suspicion of drug driving.

GARDAÍ HAVE ISSUED a warning about driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs after a car crash in Limerick last night.

The driver of the car was arrested on suspicion of drug driving after the crash on the M7 near Ballysimon.

A garda spokesperson told TheJournal.ie: “We always urge people to never ever drink and drive or take drugs and drive.”

They added that it cannot be confirmed whether or not the driver was under the influence of drugs until tests are completed.
