A MAN IN his 30s who was arrested in connection to the Kenneth O’ Brien murder investigation was released without charge today.
A second man in his 50s remains in custody.
The two men were arrested on 6 February. Earlier this week gardaí were granted more time to question the pair.
O’Brien’s dismembered remains were discovered in the Grand Canal in Kildare last month. He was 33 years old.
A file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
