This family went above and beyond with their Christmas lights this year

You might not want to live beside them though.

MEET THE AMERICAN family that love Christmas so much that their house turns into a techno festive light show for everyone to see.

The Johnsons are winning a bit of a name for themselves after appearing on US network TV with their light show – that’s 11 minutes long.

It starts off slow and subtle

But then bursts into light in fairly spectacular fashion

Even more painstaking than putting the lights themselves up, the dad puts it all to a techno soundtrack.

So the light movements actually match up.

The result is a rather excellent video

They use the lightshow to collect money from people who feel like donating to a good cause after they see the show.

Might be a tough one for the neighbours
