CORK HAVE BEEN crowned 2010 All-Ireland Senior Football Champions after beating Down 0-15 to 0-14 in the final today at Croke Park.
The Rebels had a poor first half- trailing 0-8 to 0-5 at half time. But captain Graham Canty came off the bench, after being dropped pre-match through injury, to sopur his side on to a second-half comeback.
Cork levelled scores on fifty minutes and soon took the lead. They aoon opened up a three point lead, with Daniel Goulding the high scorer at 0-10. Down were resurgent late on, bringing the scores back to within a point of each other with a minute left. But Cork held on the record their seventh All-Ireland win.
The 2010 final was the first All-Ireland final since 2003 not to feature any goals.
