Man to appear before court over death of Dale Creighton

The 20-year-old died yesterday in hospital as a result of injuries sustained in an assault on New Year’s Day.

A MAN IS scheduled to appear before court this morning charged in relation to the death of 20-year-old Dale Creighton.

The victim was attacked on New Year’s Day while crossing a footbridge at Saint Dominic’s Road in Tallaght, and died yesterday in Beaumont Hospital as a result of his injuries.

The male who will appear before court, and who is also 20-years-old, is among eight arrested following Wednesday’s attack.

A man and a woman, both in their 20s, appeared before court yesterday in connection to the attack.

Four are currently in Garda custody, while another was released without charge last night.
