Drugs and ammunition seized during Louth search
Cannabis and ecstasy tablets worth an estimated €500,000 were found during the house search in Castlebellingham.
GARDAÍ HAVE seized a quantity of controlled drugs including cannabis herb, cannabis resin and ecstasy tablets during the search of a house in Castlebellingham, Co Louth yesterday evening.
The search at Farm Road in Adamstown was part of an ongoing operation targeting the sale and supply of controlled drugs in the area, according to gardaí.
The drugs have an estimated street value of over €500,000.
Ammunition which was found at the scene of the search was also seized.
No arrests were made and gardaí say their investigation is continuing.
