Passengers were transferred to another bus before continuing on their journey.

THERE WERE TRAFFIC delays in Dublin city centre this afternoon after a wheel fell off a bus approaching Custom House Quay.

Dublin Bus confirmed that a rear wheel came off a vehicle at Butt Bridge, close to Liberty Hall.

The bus was travelling along the 15b route from Rathfarnham when the incident happened just after 3pm.
