Don’t know these people but they’re not alone.
Its become a bit of a cottage industry around Wexford.
All those lads that used to drive Dublin at 6am every day, they’re at home now, with a shed and tools and the know-how to convert it to a grow room.
Most were self employed and so recive little or no benefits.
Not saying it’s right, just saying what I’ve seen!

God forbid people want to use a non-toxic safer alternative than alcohol for a short term change of consciousness. It has to be time to look at decriminalising growing a certain amount of plants for personal and medical use, it would be a start at least.

Hopefully news sites like this can show alot more people how popular cannabis use is and that it’s better for everyone bar criminal gangs to regulate this plant.

Instead of making such a fuss over a non lethal substance the police should hunt down real criminals instead.

This should be legal. Why do other people have a say in what you can or can not put into your body….coming from a non smoker

If you take responsibility away from people, you don’t get any responsibility at all. You cannot enforce responsibility. It just is not logically or psychologically possible.

This is a complete waste of police time, it will make no impact on the drug trade at all, why can people not see that. It just a small cull of a massive industry of traders.

Cannabis is relatively harmless, people who sell it aren’t menses to society. I cannot think of one good thing that will arise from this arrest and a few bad ones, as Mick says it takes the eye of other criminals.

Stories like this are put out to give the impression that the Gardaí are effective, that this is a war and one side is winning, to always give the people the impression that there is an enemy that we must be kept safe from. Meanwhile, in the real world, people take drugs, have (mostly) a great time, and (mostly for most drugs) people don’t get hurt.

What a waste of state resources. The drug industry is a Hydra cut off one head and two will take its place

Well it keeps the eye of the real criminals in this country, the white collar variety.

Every arrest for drugs recently always involves a woman for some reason, it’s like they come toe to toe, would you say the woman’s there to water the plants and just keep up general maintenance? Maybe keep an eye on the compost heap out the back to make sure it’s just right!

Great to see the Gardai doing their job, sure so people will bitch and moan saying this stuff should be legal but that doesn’t change the fact that it is not legal and as such the Gardai are doing their jobs.
