A FOUR-YEAR-OLD girl has died following a road crash in Cork this evening.
The girl was pronounced dead at Cork University Hospital following a crash involving one vehicle on the N20 Cork to Mallow Road at around 4.10pm this afternoon.
Three other people, including two adults and another child, were injured in the incident and have been hospitalised. Their injuries have been described as not life-threatening.
The road is currently closed pending a forensic examination by a garda technical team.
An appeal for witnesses has been issued and anyone with information is asked to contact the Gurranabraher station on 021 494 6200.
