AN IRISHMAN IS in a critical condition after falling several storeys from a construction site in Brisbane, Australia.
It happened just after 7am yesterday morning at Lakefront Crescent at Varsity Lakes on the Gold Coast.
The 35-year-old had to be resuscitated by colleagues after falling 20 metres through scaffolding onto concrete, according to Sky News Australia.
A spokesperson for the Department of Foreign Affairs told TheJournal.ie that it is aware of the case and is ready to provide help, but that it hasn’t yet received a request for assistance.
