AN IRISHMAN IS in a serious condition after falling from a balcony in Spain.

It happened in the the Costa del Sol area of Marbella in the early hours of Friday morning.

The Department of Foreign Affairs has confirmed it is providing consular assistance to the man’s family.

Sur, a local newspaper in Spain, is reporting that the 23-year-old was hospitalised after suffering injuries to his face, head and knee.
