Woman attacked with boiling oil at Killarney Chinese restaurant

The woman was working in the restaurant on Christmas Eve.

A WOMAN WORKING at a Chinese restaurant in Kerry is being treated in hospital after boiling oil was thrown at her on Christmas Eve.

Investigations are ongoing into the attack which happened at about 3pm at the Chinese restaurant on the Rock Road in the town.

The victim, who is a Chinese national and is in her early 30s, is being treated at a specialist burns unit following the attack.

Gardaí say that investigations are ongoing into the incident but that no arrests have yet been made.
