PSNI seek witnesses to assault of teenage girl

Police would particularly appeal to a male, with blonde hair, who is believed to have been in the vicinity at the time of the assault and may have spoken to the victim, to contact them.

THE PSNI IS seeking information from witnesses after a teenage girl was assaulted in Lurgan today.

Police in Lurgan are appealing for witnesses in relation to the assault of the female, which took place this afternoon in the Trasna Way area.

They said that at approximately 5pm a teenage girl was assaulted by a male. He was wearing dark clothing and is described as being in his mid 20’s.

Police would particularly appeal to a male with blonde hair, who is believed to have been in the vicinity at the time of the assault and may have spoken to the victim, and to anyone with any information about this incident to contact Lurgan Police Station on 0845 600 8000.
