Man arrested in connection to Andrew Allen murder

A man in his 30s has been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of a young man in Donegal in February.

GARDAÍ INVESTIGATING THE murder of Andrew Allen in Donegal in February have arrested a man aged in his 30s this morning.

Allen, 24, was fatally shot at a house in the Links View Park area of Buncrana on 9 February. There were suggestions at the time that the bullet came through a window of the house.

A woman was also in the house at the time but was not injured.

The man was arrested in Co Donegal and is currently being held under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act, 1939, at Buncrana Garda Station.
