Young man killed in Mayo crash
He was the sole occupant of the car.
A MAN IN his 30s died yesterday evening after his car hit a fence in Mayo.
He was brought to Mayo General Hospital after the crash at around 7:30pm but passed away later in the evening.
He was the only person in the car at the time of the single vehicle crash.
It happened on the main N5 in the townland of Knockanour, Castlebar.
A technical examination of the road was carried out by Garda forensic collision investigators.
