Just for Laughs

Someone has finally made a properly funny video about the same-sex marriage referendum

Fun for your Friday.

Updated 9pm

IN THE RUN-UP to next Friday’s vote on same-sex marriage, campaigners on both sides of the debate have tried to get ahead using video messages – hoping that they will go viral.

So far, the No side has been winning the battle with this Mothers and Fathers Matter clip asking voters to ‘make up their own minds‘. It has 326,509 views and counting.

However, the latest episode of Irish comedy animation series, Martin’s Life, could provide some competition. (It’s currently at 301+, YouTube’s ‘going viral’ indicator.)

As DailyEdge.ie puts it, the sketch pretty much sums up every conversation Irish people have had with their parents about gay marriage.

Regardless of what way you will be voting next week, there will be something in here for you to knowingly nod at and then break down in a fit of giggles and snorts.

Enjoy.
