Video: There was some unlikely banter between these two political foes earlier...
Michael Noonan and Pearse Doherty had a right laugh down at the Finance Committee this evening.
MICHAEL NOONAN APPEARED before the Oireachtas Finance Committee this evening to discuss his department’s budget for 2015 and it was all fairly mundane stuff.
Thankfully for those of us following it there was some light relief from unlikely sources when Sinn Féin’s finance spokesperson Pearse Doherty had a bit of a laugh with the Finance Minister, who he spends most of his time castigating.
First, there was an entertaining back-and-forth about the wealth tax that got the pair in trouble and then there was a humorous exchange over the emails Noonan gets.
