Man in his 30s dies after collision between motorcycle and car

The R154 is currently closed at Warrenstown.

A MAN IN his early 30s has died after a collision between his motorcycle and a car in county Meath today.

The incident took place on the R154 Trim Road at Warrenstown shortly before 4.30pm.

The man was pronounced dead at scene. His body has been taken to Our Lady’s Hospital, Navan where a post mortem is to be arranged.

The occupants of the car were uninjured.

The R154 is currently closed at Warrenstown to facilitate garda forensic collision investigators. Local diversions are in place.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses, and anyone with information is asked to contact Ashbourne Garda Station on 01 8010600, the Garda Confidential Line, 1800 666111 or any Garda Station.
