and the weather didn’t matter !!!

EP…. Worth every penny paid to see The Cure live!

i went to Szige festival in Budapest last year bed it was def the best festival I’ve ever been to! no hassle no rain plenty of portaloos and safe you topped up your metapay card when entering and that’s how you paid for everything on the island no cash and if you lost your card you could cancel it no bother and get a new one. Irish festival organisers could certainly learn a thing or two from it. im going to ep this year its a great festival and hopefully the weather Will be half decent for it.

I wouldn’t go the a festival in Ireland again even if it was paid for.

Oxegen, for example, was terribly managed, remarkably expensive, the facilities were in an utter state the whole time and the food/drink providers were absolute rip off artists. That would all be tolerable if it weren’t for the absolute knackers that these festivals attract.

The camping areas are polluted with knackers aren’t just content to go and have a good time by themselves, but who feel they can only have a good time if someone else’s enjoyment is being infringed upon. Between the p1ssing in other people’s tents, setting fire to them, robbery, fight starting and lately, the arseh0les bringing weapons with them, it is the people who attend festivals here that make them not worth attending.

I’d much rather go to a festival abroad, enjoy good weather, much better people, better prices and a better atmosphere.

I’ve been to oxegen a couple of time, but I fear never again unless a certain band I particularly love play. A friend of mine sold coffee there and he said the inside scoop is that oxegen has a reputation for being the most degenerate festival in Europe. 
Any festival that has to get a dj in to the campsite at 2am to stop the place being set on fire has some serious problems!
I went to the Leeds and Redding festivals a few years ago and was so surprised at how much better everything was. From the sanitation to the walk ways to the prices. 
I’m very seriously considering finding the funds to go to Electric Picnic though as it’d be hard to miss The Cure & Sigur Ros.

Went to download festival in England instead because the line up was better

The picnic went downhill big-style over the last three years (been at all since start), crying shame.

Bestival is this years target with Glasto next year for its return.

Body & Soul looked sweet, fairly peeved I didnt plan for it.

Going to EP this year, had a great time last year, good vibe to the place & the organisers do try to do something different there & it pays off. They need to get control of thieving in the campsites though, thankfully will be in a camper this year.

I was at the Body & Soul and Life this year, both amazing festivals I done a review myself of them, hope you enjoy.

I dont think there is a Slane concert on this year .Anyways its no harm because yer man Mountcharles dont own that Slane estate, Queen Victoria gave it to his ancestors after the British forces ran the poor of their lands. On radio he said he bought the lands but he never produced any papers to prove it .

David Guetta in Augest and Swedish house Mafia next week there not really festivals but there’s a lot of people playing at them :-D
