Poll: Are you going to festival in Ireland this summer?

Festival season is well and truly underway by now – are you going to one?

OXEGEN MAY BE TAKING a year off, but other big annual festivals staying on the calendar for the summer of 2012 include the Electric Picnic, Body and Soul, Castlepalooza and the Galway Arts Festival.

Ireland plays host to dozens of festivals throughout the summer and the events planned include celebrations of  literature, music, dance and historical events.

While some people are prepared to brave the elements, others are discouraged from camping or planning a weekend out of doors when the weather is less than favourable. Ticket prices can also be a concern for prospective patrons, especially when compared to major music festivals like Portugal’s Optimus Primavera or Spain’s Primavera Sound.

Are you planning to go to a festival in Ireland this summer?
