Russian dashcam captures meteorite falling to earth

The Russian meteor is not as bright as last year’s.

LAST YEAR, THE world was enthralled as a meteor crashed on to Chelyabinsk in Russia, injuring over 1,000 people.

Yesterday, videos emerged from the north-western Russian city of Murmansk, showing a similar flash of light.

The impact of Saturday’s impact wasn’t nearly as dramatic, however.

Where the Chelyabinsk meteor blew out windows and set off car alarms, Murmansk residents didn’t report a bang.
