Woman stabbed on busy street in Longford town

The woman, aged in her 30s, was rushed to hospital.

A WOMAN IN her 30s was stabbed during an incident in Longford town earlier today.

The woman was stabbed on Main Street at about 4pm. She was brought to Midland Regional Hospital in Mullingar with non-life-threatening injuries.

Gardaí are investigating the assault. No arrests have been made so far.
