Two men arrested after death of man found outside Dublin pub

Gardaí are looking to speak to a taxi driver who dropped people off at Fassaugh Avenue this morning.

TWO MEN HAVE been arrested as part of an investigation into the death of a man in Dublin this morning.

A 21 year old was found outside Cabra House Pub on Fassaugh Avenue at around 7:40 am.

He was taken to the Mater Hospital with serious injuries and died at approximately 8:30 am.

A post mortem is being carried out today.

A 23-year-old man was arrested this morning and is being held at Finglas Garda Station.

Shortly after midday a 25-year-old man was also arrested and he’s being held at Blanchardstown Garda Station.

Gardai are appealing to anyone who may have seen anything unusual or suspicious between 6am and 8am on Fassaugh Avenue this morning to come forward.

In particular, Gardai want to speak to a taxi driver who dropped off a number of people near the Centra shop on Fassaugh Avenue early this morning.

Witnesses are asked to contact the incident room at Cabra Garda Station on 01-6667400, The Garda Confidential Telephone Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.
