VIDEO: How London looked from a Spitfire plane during Queen celebrations

The UK’s Ministry of Defence has released the video taken from the wing of a Spitfire fighter plane. You can even spot Buckingham Palace…

IT’S A DIFFERENT view of London from the one that was plastered all over the tv for large parts of the weekend.

The UK’s ministry of Defence has released this video taken from the wing of Spitfire fighter planes during a flypast over the centre of London during the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations.

You can spot the crowds at Buckingham Palace at about 1.09 minutes in. And despite the cloudy weather, you still get a pretty decent view of London from the air.
