THOUSANDS MARCHED ACROSS the country yesterday against water charges ahead of tomorrow’s deadline to register with Irish Water.

The utility company says 837,000 of the 1.5 million liable households have registered with them.

Registrations will continue to be accepted after tomorrow’s deadline but those at yesterday’s marches urged objectors not to send in their details.
