Man seriously injured as car hits wall

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to the incident.

GARDAÍ IN WEXFORD have appealed for information after a man was injured in a car crash last night.

At around 9.15pm, a man aged in his 20s was seriously injured when the car he was travelling in struck a wall on the R702 at Bellefield, Enniscorthy.

He was taken by ambulance to Wexford General Hospital.

Local diversions are in place and Garda forensic collision investigators are currently examining the scene.
