1. #ROAD DEATH: A woman in her 70s has been killed, and four others injured, after a multi-vehicle collision at Strokestown, Co Roscommon.

2. #WE HAVE A PROBLEM: A total of €12.5 billion in mortgages in Ireland are in ultra-long-term arrears, according to the Central Bank.

3. #LOSSES: Mobile network company Three announced that a total of 160 jobs would be lost in Ireland – with 85 at HQ and 75 in retail locations.
