1. MARY BOYLE: A 64-year-old man has been arrested in connection with Ireland’s oldest missing person case. Mary Boyle disappeared in 1977 when she was 6 years old.

3. PISTORIUS: Oscar Pistorius has begun his five year prison sentence for killing his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp. However, the athlete could be eligible to leave jail in just 10 months.

4. NEW VIDEO: A new Islamic State video has emerged which shows a man taking part in the stoning of his own daughter after she was accused of adultery.

5. PHEW: A fourth puppy, who had been trapped in a disused mineshaft in Cork, has now been rescued by the coastguard and is ‘doing fine’ after the ordeal.
