2. #BAUSCH AND LOMB: Union representatives from Siptu are to meet with local politicians in Waterford today over threats to jobs and wages at the Bausch and Lomb manufacturing plant.

3. #THE LIFE OF REILLY: Health Minister James Reilly’s job appears under threat this morning with both the Irish Times and Irish Independent reporting that Fine Gael backbenchers and ministers believe he should be moved out of the Department of Health in the Cabinet reshuffle next month.

4. #ABUSE: One in seven calls to Parentline last year were from parents who said they had been abused by their children, according to the Irish Examiner.

5. #QATAR: An investigator from soccer’s governing body FIFA is due to meet with the organisers of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar today amid controversy over Sunday Times allegations that bribes were paid to officials who supported the bid.

6. #LABOUR: Kerry TD Arthur Spring is expected to declare today whether he will contest the battle to be the next leader of the Labour Party. Meanwhile, Waterford deputy Ciara Conway is expected to say later that she will run for the deputy leadership.

7. #RIP: Ann B Davis, the actress who played Alice on The Brady Bunch, has died. She was 88.

8. #JACKIE O: Jackie Kennedy was aware that her letters to an Irish priest were kept by All Hallows Seminary and sought copies of them from then taoiseach John A Costello in 1966, the Irish Times reports.

9. #MINI MARATHON: Around 40,000 women are expected to take part in the 31st Flora Mini Marathon in Dublin today. Meanwhile in Cork there are three marathons taking place. Weather conditions will be mixed for runners with some sun and scattered showers forecast. Good luck if you’re taking part!
