OH, ACE OF Base. How could we have ever forgotten you?

With your Scandinavian looks, flowing hair, brooding eyes, crooning voices… you were the soundtrack to the early 90s, or so it seemed because you were rarely out of the charts.

Released in October 1993, The Sign took until February to chart in Ireland, peaking at number 2 and sticking around for 14 weeks.

Fun fact: The guy who directed this video was also responsible for the vid for 1992 hit ‘Sweat’ by Inner Circle. Now there’s a memory.
