EVERY YEAR THE Air Corps perform approximately 300 maritime patrols around the Irish coast, averaging between five and seven hours in the air.
According to the Defence Forces, this is to “cover our economic zone and assist the navy in policing our waters”.
A photographer usually accompanies a crew to gather photographic evidence but Sergeant Paul Maguire also managed to snap some pretty impressive scenic images during this recent patrol.
