AN POST HAVE to put up with plenty of challenges in their day-to-day post delivering lives – but they probably don’t come across addresses like this too often.
So behold, this letter that was sent from Belfast to Buncrana this week:
Making it to the office of Twitter user Roisin Henderson in Buncrana is quite the achievement, with the address poetically reading:
Your man Henderson
That boy with the glasses
Who is doing the PHD up there at Queen’s in Belfast
The letter was intended for Roisin’s husband, and proved once again that the postal service of Ireland will go above and beyond to get your letters to you – no matter the comical address.
The perfect irony of the letter is the “please remember to write the postcode clearly” sign from Royal Mail on the top.
That advice was certainly not heeded.
