A MOTORCYCLIST IN his late teens has been hospitalised with life-threatening injuries after a four-vehicle crash in Co Kerry.
The incident happened at around 4pm today on the N22 at Lissivigeen, near Killarney.
The collision involved a motorcycle and three other vehicles.
The motorcyclist, in his late teens, was brought by air ambulance to Cork University Hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries.
No other injuries reported.
The road has been closed to allow for a technical examination of the scene to be conducted by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.
Gardaí are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision to come forward.
Any road users who may have camera footage, including dash-cam, and were travelling on the N22 in the Lissivigeen area between 3.45pm and 4.15pm are asked to make it available.
