GARDAÍ IN FINGLAS are investigating the circumstances surrounding the sudden death of young, female infant in Dublin this morning.
The 18-month-old fell from an apartment window at the Tolka Vale complex, off the Finglas Road at about 9.30am today.
She was removed to the Mater Hospital where she was pronounced dead at 10.30am.
Gardaí, who are treating the incident as a personal tragedy, were not able to confirm what floor of the building she fell from. The matter is under investigation, they said in a statement.
