Bank Guarantee
Bank guarantee scheme extended by Dáil
THE DÁIL has approved the extension of the Bank Guarantee Scheme until the end of December, in a vote tonight. The extension of the scheme will see all deposits in the affected institutions completely guaranteed until the end of the year; after that date, all deposits up to €100,000 will remain guaranteed under separate laws after that date.
