WHEN JEREMY PAXMAN sat down with former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, he had one big question to ask him.
No, it wasn’t about his multiple court cases, tax fraud, or bunga bunga, (although he got to some of those later).
It was about something he allegedly said about German Chancellor Angela Merkel:
Berlusconi denied the accusation – but did say that Merkel “enjoyed it” when he jumped out from behind a monument and shouted “cuckoo” at her.
